During our recent visit to the La Mesa Eco Park (see this post), I handed my son a digital camera and told him to take pictures of whatever suited his fancy. At it turns out, I think he's starting to have a knack for photography. These are some of the pictures he took:

I like this shot of his the most. He quickly picked up on how to use the macro function and snapped this clear and detailed photo of a nice looking bug. Anyone know what kind of bug it is?

Lagoon.

He took more than a dozen photos of the ducks grazing around the lagoon. Did I ever mention he has a thing for ducks? Or for anything cute for that matter? Picked this one to post.

Flower. Don't ask me what kind. I have no idea. Nice composition and contrast though.

I think his picture taking skills are improving a lot. Who knows? Maybe he'll make a hobby of this someday. Or maybe even a profession. :-)
